GEOFF COOPER | PRESIDENT & CEO | RENEWABLE FUELS ASSOCIATION

Geoff serves as President and CEO of the Renewable Fuels Association (RFA), the leading national trade association for America’s ethanol producers. He is a prominent voice for the renewable fuels industry and represents its interests through engagement with the U.S. Congress, federal and state regulatory bodies, media, allied industries, and other key stakeholders worldwide. Prior to joining RFA in 2008, Geoff directed ethanol market development and regulatory activities for the National Corn Growers Association.

MEG WITTY | VICE PRESIDENT CORPORATE RELATIONS & MARKETING | LANZAJET

Meg began working in biofuels over 15 years ago at the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C., helping farmers and rural small businesses who were looking to grow biofuel feedstocks and access funding for clean energy. From there, she went on to United Airlines where she helped launch a Midwest Aviation Sustainable Biofuels Initiative to tackle the complexities across the value chain of building a new industry for sustainable aviation fuel. Since then, Meg has worked in various leadership roles at start-up and high-growth technology companies across strategy, innovation, marketing, business development, and operations. She holds a MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor’s in Government from Georgetown University.

JUSTIN KIRCHHOFF | CEO | SUMMIT AGRICULTURAL GROUP

Justin was previously the President of Summit Ag Investors, which primarily deploys capital across the agriculture and renewable energy industries in in both the U.S. and Brazil. He co-founded and currently serves on the boards of FS Bioenergia, a Brazilian low-carbon biofuels company, Summit Carbon Solutions, a carbon capture and sequestration platform in the upper Midwest, and Amber Wave, a Kansas-based wheat protein and low-carbon biofuels company. He previously served on the board of Iowa Premium, LLC, an Iowa-based beef processing company. In 2019, he was appointed by Governor Reynolds to the IPERS Investment Board, which is responsible for investment and oversight of Iowa state pension assets, where he currently serves as Chairman. Prior to joining Summit in 2012, he was with Aviva Investors North America. He grew up in Southwest Iowa and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Iowa State University, where he is a member of the Ivy College of Business Finance and Executive MBA Advisory Councils. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Iowa.

TODD BECKER | PRESIDENT & CEO | GREEN PLAINS, INC.

Todd Becker is President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Green Plains Inc. He has led Green Plains since 2008, through rapid growth and the current transformation of its facilities to true biorefineries, creating sustainable ingredients to feed and fuel the world. Mr. Becker has 36 years of extensive experience in executive management, risk management, hedging and derivatives, supply chain management, and operations in numerous commodity processing and manufacturing businesses, along with significant international experience in agricultural and energy markets. He spent ten years with ConAgra Foods in various management positions, including Vice President of International Trading and Marketing for ConAgra Trade Group and President of ConAgra Canada. Mr. Becker serves on the board of directors of Core Scientific Inc. and previously served on the board of directors for Hillshire Brands. Mr. Becker earned a master’s degree in finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Kansas.

ANTHONY GREGORY | COO | SAFFiRE RENEWABLES & SOUTHWEST AIRLINES RENEWABLE VENTURES

Anthony Gregory serves as Chief Operating Officer for SAFFiRE Renewables, a company enabling efficient production of 2G ethanol for SAF, and leads Southwest Airlines Renewable Ventures, a corporate investment fund focused on scaling low carbon fuel production. Anthony previously served as Vice President at Cruise, GM's autonomous vehicle subsidiary, leading commercial expansion and infrastructure development globally. Prior to that, Anthony served as Vice President of Ground Operations at Southwest Airlines across 120+ airports in North America. Anthony holds a B.S. from Purdue University, and an MBA and M.A. in Economics from West Virginia University.

WILL FAULKNER | FOUNDER | CARBON ACUMEN

Will is the Founder of Carbon Acumen, providing market intelligence and information into North America's low carbon fuel markets and respective policies. Prior to Carbon Acumen, he spent a decade at Propel Fuels expanding the West Coast market for high blend renewable fuels such as E85 and Renewable Diesel purchasing from the world's largest producers and distributors while helping push low carbon policy in California. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering and MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Kentucky.

JENNIFER AURDANDT-PILGRIM | VP OF R&D AND INNOVATION | MARQUIS MANAGEMENT, INC.

As the Vice President of Marquis R&D Energy LLC, Director of Innovation, Dr. Jennifer Aurdandt-Pilgrim leads Marquis innovation initiatives. She manages the technical and market development of investments in decarbonizing the economy at Marquis, with nearly 20 years of industry experience, including commercializing technologies for the ethanol industry in protein and oil separation and directing the DOE Center of Energy Excellence in Anaerobic Digestion. Jennifer sits on four industrial advisory boards for the Department of Energy, leads the SAF initiative at Marquis, spearheaded the technology investment in CCS and her team manages the largest CO2 utilization project in North America funded by the DOE. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Bowling Green State University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biological Chemistry from the University of Michigan.

MATT HERMAN | CHIEF OFFICER, DEMAND AND ADVOCACY | IOWA SOYBEAN ASSOCIATION

Raised near La Porte City, Iowa on a corn, soybean, and beef cattle operation, Matt has been near agriculture for much of his life. After leaving the farm, Matt attended Iowa State University to study policy, history, and bioenergy. Following school he worked for Ames-based Renewable Energy Group where he oversaw all greenhouse gas accounting, led aspects of policy and advocacy, and helped build innovative strategies to cut the company’s emissions while increasing profitability. Prior to joining the Iowa Soybean Association, Herman was in Washington D.C. working on environmental analysis and biofuel policy. Now at the Iowa Soybean Association, Matt leverages those skills and connections to support the creation of a more profitable, higher yielding, and more sustainable soybean cropping rotations for Iowa’s farmers.

HAN CHEN | CFA, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER | ZEAKAL, INC.

Han Chen is the Co-founder and CEO of ZeaKal, Inc. Han brings with him over seventeen years of management and venture experience. He has been a pioneer in changing how agricultural trait technologies are commercialized, focusing on innovative public-private partnerships between industry, venture, and research. Han graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College and has a Master’s degree in International Business from the University of California, San Diego. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

MAC MARSHALL | EVENT EMCEE

Mac is a know industry leader in market intelligence. He has served as global market analysis and trade lead at Bayer Crop Science, where he worked on international market access issues as part of a global agricultural policy team. Mac has also held roles in Monsanto's Corporate Strategy group and within the federal government as both a staff and supervisory economist at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. He holds a B.A. in economics from Vassar College and an M.A. in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University.

SUSAN STROUD | FOUNDER & ANALYST | NO BULL

With a deep understanding of the complex relationships within global agricultural markets, her wealth of industry contacts, plus fifteen years of experience in US cash markets and its intricate logistics, Susan has a unique perspective in a crowded pool of commentaries. She is regularly featured in Bloomberg, participates in prominent industry events as a speaker, and currently serves as a Barchart Contributor.
